Stretch While Watching T.V

The tiring demands of the day call for some pleasant body and mind relaxation. Visiting the parlour for a massage ora  pedicure may not always seem possible. Unwinding in front of the T.V is the most favoured thing to do by most of us.

Well, one does deserve a break after a tiring day. But, consider doing a few stretch exercises while watching your favourite show.

Setting aside 20 minutes to exercise daily is the most dreaded thing to ask from most of us. Consider, T.V time as stretch time. No exercise is better than some moving of muscles.

You will be also doing those tired muscles a favour by stretching them.

Consider online fitness plans from www.desidiete.com that will give you insight in to best exercises for your body type. You can consult the fitness expert for regimes and stretches that are apt for you.

Sit on the floor or on folded blankets next to the wall or couch. Extend your legs in front of you, bend your right knee, and bring your foot to the center of your body. Then bend your left knee, in the same fashion, and bring your left foot to meet your right foot, placing the soles of your feet together. If your knees are higher than your waist, add more blankets until your knees are at or below your waist. Lengthen your spine and lift your sternum (breastbone). To help straighten your spine, place your hands or fingertips on the floor beside you; if you are sitting on a prop, you may have to place your hands on books that are placed behind you. Keep your throat, neck, and shoulders relaxed as you lift your spine. Firmly press the soles of your feet together. This will automatically help extend your inner and outer thighs toward the knees and open your inner hip joints. Hold the pose for as long as you can, increasing the time as you progress. Actually having a treadmill in your television room is a great way to sweat it out without getting bored. You end up having a great work and enjoy television.
