Diet With DesiDieter This Navratras
I love fasting during Navratras. The diet helps me feel lighter and very rejuvenated. The gluten free and simple meals leave my body energised and few pounds lighter.
This is a generic plan I have prepared for this Navratras and would like all my clients on weight loss plans to try it this season. This is a holistic plan that allows healthy weight loss and reduction in water retention. DD Expert
Day 1: Potato Plan
Early Morning: A glass of luke warm water with lemon & honey juice (honey-1/2 teaspoon)
Breakfast: A banana
Snack: An apple & a cup of green tea (no sugar)
Lunch: A banana with low fat 25 gms of dahi
Tea: An apple & green tea or 200 ml of milk
Supper: 2-3 boiled potatoes with 50 gms of dahi
Post dinner- 2 slices of papaya
Day 2: Paneer Plan
Early Morning: A glass of luke warm water with lemon & honey juice (honey-1/2 teaspoon)
Breakfast: A bowl of watermelon
Snack: A glass of orange juice
Lunch: A bowl of papaya
Tea: 200 ml of milk
Supper: 200 gms of paneer with 50 gms of dahi
Post dinner- 2 slices of papaya
Day 3: Sabudana Khicdi
Early Morning: A glass of luke warm water with lemon & honey juice (honey-1/2 teaspoon)
Breakfast: A banana
Snack: An apple & a cup of green tea (no sugar)
Lunch: A banana with low fat 25 gms of dahi
Tea: An apple & green tea or 200 ml of milk
Supper: 100 gms of cooked sabudana khicdi with 50 gms of dahi
Post dinner- 2 slices of papaya
Repeat Day 4: Paneer plan
Repeat Day 5: Potato plan
Repeat Day 6: Paneer plan
Repeat Day 7: Sabudana plan
And, if you fast on Day 8: Repeat Paneer plan
Break your fast the way you do by eating one puja meal and sticking to fruits the next meal.
